About the department

Department Name: department of forensic medicine and clinical toxicology

The department is undertaking MBBS, MD, BDS and Physiotherapy Diploma teaching. Research has been done in the areas of Toxicology (pesticides, heavy metals and dhatura), Forensic pathology (head and abdominal injuries) and Forensic serology (semiral stain). DNA finger printing laboratory is shortly to take off.

Research facilities and equipments for research work in Forensic pathology, 
Forensic Odontology, Forensic Osteology, Forensic Serology, Forensic 
Biochemistry and Forensic Toxicology are present

To facilitate research and other works a computing facilities are vaialable.

The seminar library is well equipped with books and is accessible to teachers and post graduate students during working hours.
